The sudden leak in the pipe caused water intrusion to the residential unit of Mr.Williams, who resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. The inspection revealed the intrusion of water to the ceilings, drywall, flooring, and cabinetry. Water intrusion had also affected the insulation and the floor systems.
Despite the large extent of the damages, it should be noted that an initial offer made by the insurance company to settle was only $5,890, though not a true estimate of the repairs that were going to be affected.
Williams contacted SPJ Adjusting for a complete appraisal of the damage. The scope of work undertaken by our company included a complete inspection to assess the damage caused by water infiltration as well as electrical items, structural damage, and the area behind the finishes. We also included a detailed scope of work in terms of water remediation, demolition, and reconstruction to rebuild the house to its previous state.
Contributing to this positive result was our analysis, which was based upon the facts and led to a final payment of $39,740 for our client through the analysis of the facts. This was essential in ensuring a proper renovation of the house occurred.
This successful outcome underscores our dedication to protecting homeowners’ rights and ensuring every claim is fully and fairly resolved.
